Archbishop John Barwa, S.V.D

Archbishop John Barwa cares deeply for the poor. He was ordained a Catholic priest for the Society of the Divine Word on April 14, 1985. He was consecrated Coadjutor Bishop of Rourkela, India, on April 19, 2006. Pope Benedict XVI, hopeful of quelling the violence against Christians in the Indian state of Orissa, appointed him Archbishop of Cuttack-Bhubaneswar on February 11, 2011.


Bishop Juan Mata, S.D.B

Bishop Juan Mata was born in the capital city of Nicaragua in 1946. At the age of four, two of his older sisters bravely sacrificed their own lives to save him from drowning. He was ordained a Catholic priest on the Feast of the Assumption in 1976, and consecrated bishop on the Feast of St. Joseph in 1988. 96% of his diocese, of which he has been Ordinary since 1990, is Catholic. Bishop Mata is in charge of the pro-life activities for the Nicaraguan Episcopal Conference.

Christopher Ferrara, J.D.

Christopher A. Ferrara earned his Baccalaureate and Juris Doctor degrees from Fordham University. He is President and Chief Counsel of the American Catholic Lawyers Association. Mr. Ferrara has written extensively on Catholic issues. His articles have appeared in The Latin Mass and The Remnant, and other publications. He authored several books, including The Secret Still Hidden. He has translated into English Antonio Socci’s book, Il Quarto Segreto di Fatima.
